Abstract Submission |

Those wishing to make oral or poster presentations should email their abstract via the link ‘abstract submission’. Please indicate clearly in the header which form of presentation you would like to be considered for. Students should also indicate their year of post-graduate study and adhere to the formatting and instructions for abstract layout, which can be found on the following the link.
Oral presentations will be 20 minutes long and the deadline for submission is the 31st January 2010. Confirmation for oral and poster presentations will be made by the 10th February 2010.The deadline for registration and receipt of payment is 19th February 2010.
Oral Presentations
You have 20 minutes in total allocated for your presentation, which will include 5 minutes for questions and discussions. As we have a very short turn around time between lectures, we recommend that you save your presentation (preferably in a program compatible with Microsoft Powerpoint 2003) on a memory stick or CD-ROM. The lecture room will be equipped with a computer and standard digital projection facilities.
Poster Presentations
The poster session will be held on March 24 and poster boards will be made available for your use from 10:00 am on that day. Please note that your posters should be printed in landscape and not larger than A1 size (841 mm wide x 594 mm high). The maximum area available for your display will be 3ft x 3 ft. There will be a wine reception during the poster session and prizes will be awarded for the best posters. The poster session will also give you a good opportunity to network with both colleagues and peers in your area of research.
